Everyday Wonders — 20 Antique LIFE Advertisements, 1908–1913
A little window into everyday life more than a century ago. Everyday Wonders gathers 20 authentic advertisements from the early illustrated LIFE magazine, published between 1908 and 1913 and preserved in the Merakintsugi archive.
Discover elegant fashions, chocolate boxes, perfume, writing paper, railway travel, ocean cruises, early cameras, an electric automobile and other curious inventions. Original illustrations, borders, typography and historical wording are the feature.
Use these historical reproductions for art, collecting, collage, junk journals, scrapbooking and other creative projects. Personal use and small handmade physical items for sale are permitted under the included License & Terms.
YOU RECEIVE
• 20 distinct individual high-resolution JPEG advertisements, with 300 ppi metadata and native cropped pixels; original proportions retained, no upscaling. Smaller original ads naturally have smaller pixel dimensions.
• A 20-page US Letter printable PDF, 8.5 x 11 inches.
• The same 20 advertisements in a 20-page A4 printable PDF, 210 x 297 mm.
• A two-page contents, printing and customer terms guide, plus START_HERE instructions.
One complete advertisement appears on each printable page. Both PDFs contain the same twenty ads, not forty different designs. No additional tags, pockets, journaling cards, transparent cutouts or physical items are included.
PRINTING
Download and unzip the complete file. Choose the PDF matching your paper and print selected pages at Actual size / 100%, high quality. White margins are intentional. Artwork sizes vary with their original proportions, up to approximately 7.15 x 9.45 inches. Print a test page before a full batch. Colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor and printer settings.
About the artwork: This collection reproduces authentic historical material from the Merakintsugi archive. Original artwork and wording have been preserved and reflect the era in which they were created. Paper toning, age marks, and printing imperfections are part of their vintage character.
